Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the incoming and pre-delivery inspections or our motorhomes which are despatched to our dealership network from our Hull facility. The role involves ensuring all our motorhomes meet the high standards our customers and dealers expect from the Coachman brand. There may be occasions when you would be required to attend a dealer or customer to assist in the repair of a motorhome.
Duties include but not inclusive to:
To complete habitation checks and pre-delivery inspections (PDIs).
To inspect and repair faults to Electrical (12v and 240v ), Gas, and Water systems.
Damp testing and carrying out necessary remedial works.
Ensuring all work is completed to the Company’s high standards of quality and safety.
Maintaining accurate records of services carried, components used, time taken and record any issues for warranty purposes.
Requirements
NCC qualifications are preferred but not essential.
Minimum 3 years experience as a Motorhome/Caravan Technician.
Proven experience of water ingress works including damp testing and the necessary remedial works.
Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Full UK Driving Licence (over 3500kg preferred).
You must be able to work independently, with good time management skills and have the ability to communicate effectively and interact with colleagues and customers.
This is a full time/permanent position.
Hours of Work: Mon – Thurs 0730 hrs – 1630hrs. Friday 0730hrs – 1230hrs plus overtime if required.
23 holiday days (fixed to factory shutdown) plus Bank Holidays.
