The Caravan Awards 2013 – Caravan of the Year

August 2013

The Coachman Pastiche 525/4

When the judges sat down to deliberate the overall Caravan of the Year 2013, we expected fireworks. However, one by one, each revealed their favourite caravan, and four out of five judges plumped straight for the impressive and innovative Coachman Pastiche 525/4.
“It’s the amazing layout that makes it seem more like a trendy apartment than a caravan, that did it for me” said one.
“My kids would love it,” piped up, the editor, “and so would I – they’re not the quietest sleepers!
The 525/4 raked in eights and nines (out of 10) across the board, from interior and exterior styling to storage, sleeping and kitchen.
“It’s the nearest I’ve felt to being in a house while being in a caravan,” explained Ben H.
“If you want to show non-caravanners how far caravans have evolved in recent years, this is the tourer to do it,” said design guru and seasoned caravanner David Weaver.
Layout aside, the 525/4 impresses with its build-quality and carefully-chosen fixtures and fittings. Wood-finish choice is spot on and complements the mid-tone upholstery – a perfect match of style and lightness. At the front, last year’s Innovation Award winner, Coachman’s sweeping sunroof, floods the lounge with natural light. At night, a plethora of lighting options allows you to create the perfect ambience, while Truma combi heating keeps the occupants perfectly warm.
Combine all this with a jam-packed spec list and you have the most accomplished caravan on the market for 2013.
