In partnership with Here We Tow and Coachman Caravan Company, Here We Tow are travelling around reviewing the Coachman Sportivo 565. In this video they are addressing the question ‘Motorhome Payload: Do we have a PROBLEM?’
Is our 3500kg Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) Motorhome useable.
We take our Mercedes based Coachman Travel Master Sportivo to a weighbridge to find out if we are over or under our Gross Vehicle Weight.
This motorhome is sold as a 3.5t to make is driveable by those with no C1 Category on their driving licence.
You can up-rate this motorhome to 3900kg as a paperwork exercise, and higher if you consider adding air suspension.
In this video we show you the equipment our motorhome has on it as standard, and the kit we take when we go away. We then pay £10 and visit a public weigh bridge.
The Gross Vehicle Weight is measured and the rear axle. Let us find out of this really is a 3500kg motorhome, or just a sales gimmick and unachievable.
