Coachman Caravans has had its best year yet at the Motorhome and Caravan Show, held at the NEC, Birmingham, selling caravans with a retail value of over £10 million.

Martin Henderson, Coachman’s Managing Director, said:

“This year is turning out to be the best in our 29-year history. I suspect all the manufacturers at this year’s show will be reporting good results, as it was very busy, very animated, and the atmosphere was wonderful – almost a holiday mood.

“People are investing in their leisure time again. When they go caravanning, they want to do it properly, with comfortable beds, luxury bathrooms, beautiful interior design and high-end fixtures and fittings. We’ve thrown all our efforts into innovation and improvements, whilst reducing weights and keeping prices down at the same time. We’re now seeing the results of that investment and dedication.”

Working alongside engineers from the University of Hull and Bostik, the world’s leading producer of advanced sealants, Coachman has also developed Advanced Bonded Construction techniques which have enabled the company to produce precision-manufactured caravans that are lighter, stronger and more durable than ever before.

Coachman took its full 2016 collection to the show and every range sold well, from the affordable Vision models to the last word in luxury offered by the Laser range. Every caravan in Coachman’s 2016 collection has undergone an internal redesign, with updated soft furnishings and upgraded features, to give the interiors a true “home from home” feel.

Coachman Caravans is one of the leading caravan manufacturers in the industry, employing almost 170 staff at its base in Hull, East Yorkshire. Its Vision, Pastiche, VIP and Laser ranges offer caravans to suit a range of budgets, from affordable quality to unrivalled luxury.
