Alongside, we’re also unveiling two new campervan models, the Coachman Affinity Duo and One. 1. The Coachman Affinity Panel Van
Available in two variations, the Coachman Affinity Duo is based on a MAN chassis (with 180bhp engine and automatic gearbox) while the Coachman Affinity One is built on a Fiat Ducato chassis (also a 180bhp engine and automatic gearbox). So, across both there’s a high level of performance and reliability as standard.
Unusually, both models have a double French bed (i.e. offset) towards the rear and a convenient layout up front which makes the very most of the available space, but there are important differences in the models on the interiors.
2. Coachman Affinity ONE
The Coachman Affinity One is a really well equipped three-berth model, which includes four travel seats (including two rotating captain chairs in the cab) and a single bed up front. This bed converts quickly and easily in combination from the lounge and cab seating and makes a comfortable sleeping space for that third passenger or overnight guest. Small families will find this a very useful feature of the ONE.
This panel van conversion is 6.3m long and 2.2m wide, so it offers an agreeable amount of interior, with the feeling of space well aided by there being plenty of headroom. Packed with comfort and convenience features such as cleverly optimised storage space, driver assistance tech, a shower cubicle, sound insulation and a well-kitted kitchen area, the Coachman Affinity One is a smart option for travellers looking for a smart home from home.
The exterior is imposingly stylish, offering a fantastic ‘vibe’ for travellers – tinted side windows and a large sliding door – but there are also features which make the space around the van a practical consideration, too. The shower at the rear for washing off your dog or taking an outdoor shower, the external gas point for BBQs etc, the electric hook-up point, and a wind-out canopy for social afternoons in the sun or pleasant al fresco evenings under the stars. What’s more, the Coachman Affinity One has a MAM of 3500kg so is ok to be driven on a standard UK driving licence.
3. Coachman Affinity Duo
The Coachman Affinity Duo is the Affinity range’s trim and tremendous two-berth option, featuring two travel seats. At 6.84m long the Coachman Affinity Duo provides plenty of interior space for couples on the move, and is easy to handle out on the road.
Behind the passenger seat, a lift-up table extends the worktop area of the efficiently put-together kitchen space (two hobs, a sink and a fridge), and provides a highly useable extra surface at mealtimes. With plug sockets and charging points in the Coachman Affinity Duo, travellers are also geared up for connection. The exterior has a striking silver-grey finish, commanding attention – including tinted side windows and a large sliding door – and there are plenty of features to bring the exterior into play as a liveable space, including electric hook-up. The Coachman Affinity One also has a MAM of 3500kg and can legally be driven on a standard UK driving licence.
4. Coachman Travel Master Sportivo
The Coachman Travel Master Sportivo is a true luxury option which will satisfy all travellers. With a 170 HP Mercedes-Benz Sprinter engine and 9-speed automatic gearbox, the twin-axle Sportivo is a pleasure to drive, offering power, performance and practicality.
This two-berth edition of Coachman’s new signature range also offers a wealth of comfort and convenience in the interior spaces. With great design smarts and top-quality materials combining in true Coachman style, the Coachman Travel Master Sportivo’s living spaces showcase the best that the company has to offer.
