We were looking for a fixed-bed layout with good interior design, good build quality and value for money. The quality of build has exceeded our expectations. The workforce obviously has pride in their work. This is what differentiates Coachman from the high volume manufacturers.

We were looking to move from a 2-berth to a 4-berth caravan with an end changing room. The caravan needed to be adaptable for our daughter to come with us and we needed two single beds.

On the way back from dropping our son off in Manchester we called into Kenmore to have a look with a view to updating our old Compass Omega 520/4 but on viewing fell in love with this VIP. It is very like the Omega but better quality – same layout with an end-bathroom.
It meets our criteria 100% – exactly what we wanted with a few extras.

We wanted a fixed bed but had to keep the weight as low as possible. We wanted class workmanship and fittings that felt like they would last as opposed to falling apart if we used them and warranty that’s worth its salt!
Our caravan meets and exceeds these demands with a warranty that’s transferable f.o.c. (some other companies charge). She feels rock solid behind the car, seats are as comfy as we have at home and the fixed bed is fantastic.

Our first priority was that the caravan had to be of the highest quality. I did a survey over about 18 months and by far Coachman owners were the happiest. Also when the caravans do have problems, Coachman are way ahead of all the others.

How has it lived up to expectations? – even better than we thought. It is now 7 years old and is still in perfect condition. We pick it up from storage and go away safe in the knowledge we’ll have a great time without problems. In our mind, there is no comparison, Coachman is the clear winner and like Red Rum stood the test of time.
