Coachman Caravan Company Limited, one of the UK's leading caravan manufacturers, has once again opened its doors to members of the Coachman Owners Club to give them an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of their Hull factory.
Each year, the Coachman Owners Club, which is made up of people throughout the UK who own a Coachman caravan, organise a programme of social activities and rallies and the factory visit is the highlight of these events.
Around 180 club members descended on the factory where experienced staff guided them through the cab shop, degreasing, prep shop, furniture and gas and electric areas - giving them a first hand view of how a Coachman caravan is made.
Martin Winfield, sales executive at Coachman Caravans was involved in the tour and he said: "It was a brilliant day and everyone enjoyed it. The open day is our way of saying thank you to those people who have bought a Coachman caravan and are loyal fans and we aim to enhance their Coachman experience by showing them around the factory. Their enthusiasm for our products rubs off on everyone at the factory which gives us even more pride in what we do."
"The day was rounded off with a fun evening at Beverley Racecourse which gave the Coachman staff more of a chance to get to know these customers a little better. A lot of them have stories to tell about their caravanning adventures and it's nice to hear about them coming to life!" It was an evening full of fun and games which was rounded off with £450 worth of pizzas being delivered from a local takeaway.
