With autumn now here, warm and sunny summer holidays seem a distant memory for many Brits. But for keen caravanners, Mike and Judi Nevitt, their fantastic summer break is one they will not forget anytime soon.

Since investing in a Pastiche 545/4 caravan in March, the couple has embarked on six holidays – including a 2000-mile adventure across Europe. Staying over at 12 campsites across France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, Mike and Judi have taken in the breathtaking sights of Lake Geneva, discovered the stunning scenery in Staufen and spent time in the beautiful Champagne region over a period of five weeks.

Although Mike and Judi have been on regular caravan holidays since 1976, this is the first time they have been on tour in a Coachman model. And, according to Mike, it has made a remarkable difference.

“I have owned 11 caravans in the past and, each time, I’ve had to go back to the dealer, as there have been problems that need fixing,” said Mike.
“Sometimes, I’ve even had to contact suppliers to order new parts, which I’ve had to fit myself at home.  But with the Pastiche, I haven’t had to do this.”

The Nevitts purchased their first Pastiche following a recommendation from Coachman-owning friends, after they had grown tired of the constant repairs to their previous caravan.

“I’ve been so impressed with the build quality of the Pastiche and the layout is excellent,” said Mike.

“It is also the first single-axle caravan I’ve owned. Before, I drove a Land Rover Discovery, so a twin-axle was the best choice. However, I was delighted with the performance of the Pastiche with my Land Rover Freelander, which is a smaller vehicle.”

Mike and Judi are happy with their new Pastiche, as are their caravanning friends and younger caravanning family, who are all equally impressed with the quality of build and design consideration employed by Coachman.

“If what we now own is typical of Coachman quality, both now and in the future, then you have another customer who will stay loyal to the brand,” said Mike.
